SafePharm Laboratories Ltd is a UK based global contract research organization and a whollyowned subsidiary of Harlan Sprague Dawley Inc., a US based global life sciences company with operations in 15 countries. Established in 1970, the company occupies some 12000 square meters of laboratory and office accomodationon a 25 acre site in rural Derbyshire.
We offer a full range of services relating
to the safety evaluation of chemicals
and supply an unrivalled level of assistance tailored to our
clients' particular requirements. These extend from simply
conducting limited testing
to providing a complete testing
and registration package, all available in-house.
The laboratories are fully equipped with
the latest technology; and with an on-going programme of
expansion and improvement, more than half of the buildings
have been constructed within the last seven years.
All testing is in compliance
with GLP and our reports have been successfully
filed with all of the leading regulatory agencies around the
world.

Our
Mission
We aim to provide a service which is of

to our customers needs. At SafePharm we seek to achieve this

to avoid unnecessary testing and advocate that all studies
are conducted to protocols which are accepted world-wide
to avoid repeat testing.
- Project co-ordination - for multi disciplinary projects
our co-ordination system provides a single point of contact
at SafePharm, although full access to Study Directors is
of course available where appropriate.
