Toxicology - Endpoint: Skin and Eye Irritation
At the time
of writing there are no validated test systems for assessment
of skin or eye irritation.
However, SPL offer several tests
that can be used either as ‘stand-alone’ tests
or as part of our acute irritation tiered testing strategies
as screens for severe irritancy. These screening tests are
often used as part of worker safety assessment test programs
or in high-throughput screening of novel compounds thereby
minimizing animal usage.
